LTL shipments typically consist of six standard-sized pallets or fewer. Some carriers may accept more, but each has its own guidelines, making it crucial to have someone like us to help verify the best options. Exceeding carrier limits can lead to costly mistakes.
We also offer guaranteed LTL options for time-sensitive shipments that need to arrive by a specific date. It's important to understand what a standard guaranteed option includes, as rules vary by carrier. There are also different types of guaranteed services, each with its own policies.

DownloadStandard 53-foot dry van trailers are the most widely used type for truckload shipping.
Flatbed trailers include various sizes and styles, such as 48-foot and 53-foot options, step decks, low boys, and conestogas. We have access to a comprehensive range of these types.
Refrigerated trailers, commonly referred to as reefers, are temperature-controlled to ensure that your goods are transported at the appropriate temperature, preventing any damage.

DownloadIntermodal or rail shipments typically use 53-foot containers and are transported by train. This option can be cost-effective on certain routes, especially if transit time isn’t a concern. However, over-the-road shipping can sometimes be cheaper, so it’s important for us to check current capacity.
Keep in mind that rail shipments can take 2-3 times longer than over-the-road transport and may face delays. If your freight isn’t time-sensitive, though, rail can be an excellent way to reduce costs. Additionally, same-day pickups are usually not available, so it’s best not to expect them. Feel free to reach out for comparisons.

DownloadAir shipments are transported by airplane and tend to be quite expensive, often considered a last resort for many. While most of our customers can rely on truck transport, there are certain situations where air may be the only viable option, especially when time is critical and there’s no room for delays. The good news is that we can typically provide you with multiple options for comparison, helping you understand what to expect.

DownloadOcean shipments are transported by ship and can be arranged as LTL, full loads, or anything in between. This is a good choice if transit time is not a concern, especially for most international shipments. In the U.S., ocean shipping is also a viable option for destinations like Alaska, Hawaii, and other islands, where air freight can be quite expensive. Just be prepared for significantly longer transit times.
Similar to rail versus over-the-road shipping, ocean transit can take 2-3 times longer compared to more expedited options.
